The fact it has facilities like toilets showers common room etc just got left alone was great deffo would go back.

Not much walks around everything was a drive

Site was very well maintained, the shower and toilet block was very clean. Great location for access to blencathra and skiddaw. Staff dealt with issue straight away.

The noise and music from our neighbours was not ideal for an early rise for our hiking trip, but staff dealt with it when told shame the guests didn’t understand the 10pm quiet down rule and lacked respect of others nearby.

We were located in a small field surrounded by trees, with a small water fall and stream. Absolutely perfect.

Would have preferred better toilet facilities, however, still acceptable.

Lovely spot with great views, easy to find and friendly staff. All the facilities were well kept and only a 15 minute walk to the pub!

Absoloutly perfect☺️ everyone was so friendly, it was so peaceful, quiet and beautiful scenery, I couldn’t of asked for a better stay, it was such an excellent place with clean facilities, friendly staff

Camp site on a working farm, on arrival we was greeted by the owner (lovely gentleman) who gave us an option on where to pitch our tent, he gave us the pros and cons on both areas (river side and hill side).
He was very friendly and approachable throughout our stay.
The views were beautiful no matter where you walked on site.
The facilities were very well kept and always clean.
Was able to hire fire pit and logs on site very cheep.
Overall was a lovely stay and would definitely go back.
They also have a beautiful peacock on site who we fell in love with.
