Liked: We liked that we could choose where to pitch our tent. Also so useful to have both fridge and freezer in communal room with a good system for making sure food wasn’t left to go off. Good showers and clean loos. Nice to have a hairdryer in loo block too. Could also charge phone up in communal room. The views of Blencathra are stunning. Weather wasn’t amazing but it didn’t spoil our week at Gill Head Farm

Liked: Really nice site. Very friendly staff. The facilities were kept very clean and were lovely to use after a long day walking. Great views from the pitches available. Location was very easy to find as well.

Disliked: When we arrived we were met with a chap in reception who clearly wasn’t interested. Not very informative or accommodating.
WiFi is offered however isn’t very reliable.
