Really clean facilities and a very convenient location near the A66. Enjoyed chilling out in the evenings watching the sun set over Blencathra.

Nothing to doslike

As with all camp sites the greeting from the host is everything and she didnt dissapoint. Friendly ,informative, always happy to help. As soon as i entered the site i felt totally at ease, found myself a little spot and pitched up.

The site was spotless ive never been to a site where the owners take such pride in delivering such clean and well presented areas for recreation and sanitation. i.e washing and showering facilities.

very easy access from the A66 that leads into keswick so all the hikes and mountains are on your doorstep with amazing views of blencathra right out of the front of the tent.

Im hoping to get back in a few weeks to enjoy the views once more and to soak up the relaxing ambience this area delivers. 10/10 for everything

That i had to leave after 2 days

This site was the best site I have ever stayed on. It was clean, quiet, the facilities were amazing and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend this site

A beautiful, quiet site. Clean shower facilities. Great laundrette so we didn’t have to bring all clothes home dirty! Helpful staff always on hand. A great play area for children also. Great location also, not far to drive to get to other parts of the lakes and easy to get to with a caravan!

The rain! But there is nothing you can do about that 😂

Stop here every year on my way to Scotland.
Brilliant campsite, good facilities and owners are always friendly and make you feel welcome.
Be back again next year.
