Well located for Chirk and close to the canal - great for walking and cycling. Level pitches and nice facilities. Very welcoming and helpful team.

The site is in in close proximity to the main road and consequently there is quite a bit of road noise which is present during day and at night.

Well maintained, with friendly and helpful staff. Toilets and showers modern and spotless. Good canal walks and nice pub on the doorstep.

Quite near the main road so some traffic noise. Shame the swimming pool is still unfinished

Site and facilities were fab. The team that run it are also so friendly and helpful. Toilet facilities immaculate. Bonus is there’s 5the canal 5 mins walk away as well as a pub and bus stop within 2 minutes.

It is on the main A5 so there is road noise but you get used to it so not really a dislike. Tv reception not great but if you have a fire stick it’s not a problem as the WiFi is brilliant

We booked here last minute an we have to stay it was absolutely lovely pitches we're clean spacious everything on hand reception immaculate wash area immaculate you would think they had just opened the doors will definitely be returning and WiFi was super quick no lag atall

I wouldn't say this was a dislike as we will be returning again regardless but maybe a little kids play area would be nice but again definitely not a put off from the campsite as out kids played with they're own outside toys

Noise from the main road

Lovely site. Friendly staff. Level pitches. Immaculate shower block. Pub across the road. Nice walk along the canal. 25 mins walk to the village of Chirk, small independent shops and pubs. Will be back again.

Nothing to dislike.

Staff very friendly, site and facilities clean and tidy. Great walks right from the site and two pubs within walking distance.

Quite close to A5 so you can hear the road, probably more of an issue for us as we live in a small quiet village.

Lovely clean and modern site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dogs welcome, fields close by to exercise. Lovely canal walks to Chirk Town centre. Interesting castle. Nice hard standing pitches with electric and water. Pubs close by for food.
