Lovely site with spacious pitches, we loved that the kids could go to the park and we could see them all the time! We came in the middle of an heatwave so the shop selling slushes was much needed to cool us down. The kids loved the entertainment too.

Large flat field for kids to play on, really friendly staff.

There was an altercation with an adult camper and a staff members young son, the boy ended up requiring stitches. The man who injured the child was allowed to stay on camp for 2 more days. I have small children myself and didn't like the way that was handled by the owner. Being drunk at the time was not an excuse, especially since he continued to drink for the remainder of his stay. Because of this we wouldn't return.

2nd visit of the year. Love the site, and good to see the work progressing around the static and hard standing pitches. Although work was going on during the days, it wasn’t intrusive on the camping field.
Hoping to return next year.

Had to leave early due to the kids (and wife) not coping with the high temperature. Can’t blame the site for that though - probably only is that complains that the weather is too good for camping haha.
Other slight niggles - the was blocked (we had to take porta-loo back full.
The group who where trying to turn the site into a nightclub on Saturday night. Someone intervened (another camper I think) around midnight and explained the error of their ways in no uncertain terms.

The site layout and space, safely away from roads, safe place for children to play freely. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Nice quiet location, with essential amenities close by.
The site is currently undergoing a great deal of improvement work, but there is much more to be done. The temporary facilities are basic, but clean and functional. This is a great site in the making, we look forward to seeing it finished in the future.

No staff available on Sunday, and no emergency contact detain.
Food was advertised, but no food was available.

Absolutely loved our stay here! the children played in the big open space with a little play ground in the middle where you can sit at your pitch watching them play and make new friends, the couple that are on site Sophie and Mike are brilliant and a credit to the new owners as nothing is too much trouble for them, Mike helped me get the water working on our caravan as we had no water, the entertainment on the weekend for the children was great fun ours loved it 🤩

Lovely large flat field with good tree shelter in case of winds. We were able to chose our own pitch on arrival which was great. The toilet/washing up/shower facilities are basic but adequate and I believe there are plans to update these. There was entertainment for the children Saturday teatime which was fun to watch. Unfortunately there was a party camping who thought it was funny to play music at nightclub decibels way past quiet time. Their language was also loud and disgusting. I was told the next day by another camper that this had been dealt with but am unsure if that was by management or other campers. We did not let this spoil our stay.

We had a regular visitor who I think must live on the campsite - a 3 legged cat, what a sweetie he/she was. We look forward to visiting again.
