The ease to turn up at anytime we set off after work so was late in getting there. Told us where to park electric hookup was easy and a late departure at 12 if required . Will definitely use again and dog friendly.

Pub just in front but open only on weekends.

Toilet are not far from the camp site, but you have to cross a road to get there, and felt like a different place.
It could work well to have a little table or shelves in the bathroom.

It was quiet which we liked. Toilets where clean. Hard to find place to dispose of toilet waste. And pub was shut.pther than that everything fine.

Lovely quiet an clean site with a great pub opposite. The food was great. My wife and i enjoyed a very peaceful weekend. Shame about the weather.

Shame the pub wasn't open but to be expected mid week in middle of October.

It was opposite a pub

Didn't open on Thursday when we arrived so ate in Penrith two nights tried in pub on last night and were hurried onto a table that was needed asap despite having lots of tables empty with reserved signs on them.
Site was then full and at least five children from site were running wild on scooters and bikes in and out of site and pub. Their own personal playground obviously.
Glad we went home on Sunday.

Had a really lovely stay over 3 nights. The site itself was exceptionally quiet, which we love, with very pleasant views. The pitch area was spacious, clean and well kept and the toilet blocks very clean. The gentleman who welcomed us was friendly and very helpful.

The pub opposite the site was closed during the week which was disappointing as that was one of the reasons we booked the site. It would have been perfect if we had stayed over the weekend
