Thanks for Colin. Just to point out the camping fees do include full access to the farm trail, activity book for kids etc. We check the pricing every year to ensure we're competitive with similar places. Hope to see you all again sometime.

    We had a lovely stay camping in the forest, it was quite magical at times. The staff were so friendly and we loved walking the nubian goats. We took a night time trip up the path to watch the bats one evening and felt so lucky to be immersed in nature.
    Really impressed, and will definitely be back.
    Disliked: 

    I wished there were more activities to book around the farm but understand that there are likely reasons these wernt available.
    Maybe scheduled talks about the animals to teach young ones about working on the farm and what's involved in the animal care.

    Huge field so everyone had their own space. Lots for young kids to do. Excellent farm shop and cafe on sight as well as a pub across the road.
    Disliked: 

    Although showers clean, kids wouldn’t use them because they are so exposed at the top. An additional shower block might be helpful.

    Excellent site with clean but simple facilities including compost toilets on every pitch and cold water washing up sinks. Friendly staff. A major plus was being able to have a fire, after purchasing a fire permit. We liked the big open spaces for the children to run and the little farm/ wooden play area we were able to visit.

    There was a free choice on which pitch we liked to use. The farm trails were so nice and entertaining, even for adults. Having a shop on-site is a massive plus for those who left something at home :)
    Disliked: 

    Unfortunately, the site was nosy because there were a lot of planes flying overhead, even during the night.

The flight path to Luton Airport is not a constant feature, but dependent on wind direction. Hope it didn't spoil things too much on this occasion.

    Very peaceful camping in the forest! Your very own private spot ! Loads of toilets showers and water taps dotted around the site! Very clean as well ! Best camp site by far ! Definitely be back and recommend to my friends ! Seeing the animals on site was also a bonus !
