You need go go round the ring roadFriendly check in. Bus stop on site to go into Salamanca. Facilities are very clean but a bit dated. Good place for stop of if your heading south. Booked it on pitch up.

What’s not to like in mid Winter. Try bettering it, you can’t.

Produced site plan and clear instructions together with a detailed and accurate bus plan, pick up and drop off for the local bus which has its own bus shelter at the entrance of the site, hourly.
€1.65 each way on the bus which terminates at the last stop in the City centre for the main plaza Square and all walking distance sites. Return bus at exactly the same place. Route no 20.
Yes, it’s a bit rustic in the Winter months but all very functional and very well placed and very reassuringly secure. We are caravaners but mostly mobile home visitors on site when we have visited.
Visited 3 times now and happy with the location, no need to look else where.Disliked: All depends on the weather at the time. Visited 3 times now at exactly the same time , mid January. From very cold frozen, difficult miserable experience to very mild sunny dry weather and very pleasant experience. Same place same experience but weather alters the mood. At least the electrics work and availability of water and toilets/showers clean all the time.

Liked: Nice big pitches. Extremely friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Showers are good, very hot. Reasonably priced washer/dryer available. Would definitely come here again.
Disliked: A lot of electricity points were tripped, couldn’t be turned back on as fuse boards are in a locked box. Luckily, the pitch next to ours had working electricity so had to use that.
