Lovely campsite, everything clean and tidy, toilets and showers were modern and very clean with hot water at all times. Close to the A55 so very easy to get anywhere we needed easily. 2 minute drive from a shop and 10 minutes from a retail park with 3 major supermarkets. Chippy van comes onto site once a week. Kids loved it here as they enjoyed the freedom of running around and exploring the wood at the bottom, everyone on site very friendly. Will be returning

The campsite was lovely, the shower blocks/toilets were super clean. The lady who owns it is really friendly, there was a bar open on certain days, not sure if this changes weekly, and a fish and chip van turned up on one night. Plenty of space around tent pitches and had a tap next to our pitch. Extremely dog friendly too!

The pitch was very close the road, which wouldn’t normally bother me but the winds were super strong and it just sort of amplified it. We left a night early but it was literally just due to the awful weather. Would 100% come back here.

The facilities were clean and well kept. The site was spacious with enough room for the kids to play and run about. The owners came and made sure you were good, they were very friendly and helpful.

First introduced wife to camping as I'm exforces.
I love the outdoors and due to medical conditions couldn't go on my own.
I invited wife to go to Wales and dragged a day out to tire her.
Called in on site, and she thought we were getting a caravan for the night.
Then I introduced her to a plot of land and exclaimed that we could stay here!
Earlier in the day, before we travelled, I'd packed a portable 3xman pop-up tent. Single burner, and multiple single camping items. Single stove, single kettle, fry pan, you get the jist.
From caravan to tent, within hour's the missus loved it. She'd gotten the bug.
The site we were on was friendly, inviting and although we couldn't hook up to electrics, accommodated us with in-house plugs to charge ventilation systems and phone's for emergency calls.
Washing machine and drying facilities on-site.
Shower and wash facilities cleaned regularly throughout the day. Hygiene exemplary.
Caravan facilities for urination and defecation cleansing available so also for campers.
A progress in the making. The first time we were there, the bar was open on a Saturday.
This time, the bar was open Mon, Wed, Fri and Saturday.
Takeaway service's available with in reception notifications and menu's.
Onsite and working farm for the children to visit and very friendly and inviting animals to feed by hand.
Resident's and locals are friendly.
Highlight of this second stay, was RAF Valley.
Watching the RAF's fighter planes take off and land, listening to their fierce roar through the sky's and their uniformal landing nearby.
Local amenities, pubs, shopping centres, fuel station's, everything within 3 miles.
Cannot endorse this site enough.
Absolutely loved it and by all accounts, the wife invested and is still investing in camping materials.
First time, pop-up tent.
Second time, 3x section pole tent,....
Now we're looking at going Air with all mod camping cons.
God knows where the money is coming from but she's already booking next year's holidays, and guess what.
We'll be in a tent.
Not only does she now have the bug, I can do what I inadvertently love, without worrying about the consequences of my health.
I truly wish I'd done this sooner.

Nothing to dislike to be fair. Whether you camp in a tent or a caravan, or like myself, ex military, in a basha, you take the rough with smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with the wife, and in-laws. Nothing wrong with being at one with nature.

Good size hard standing pitches. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Toilets and showers were kept very clean. Dog field. Chippy van on a Saturday, very nice. Close proximity to the a55, there was some traffic noise but it didn't bother us, tend not to notice after the first night. Would stay there again

Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly owners, made us feel very welcome. Smashing little bar to have a chat and a drink. Pet goats a little treat for all

We have no transport so unable to get out as very busy road and no bus service. Did go out for day in motorhome, wasn't too much of an issue.

The site is in a fantastic location for visiting lots of places in the north west of the island. There is a secure dog field which is brilliant. The facilities are very modern and clean. There is a bar on site which is open some evenings. The owner is very pleasant and there is a very nice family atmosphere on site.

We stayed in a non electric tent pitch. These tents are very close (15 feet approximately) to a 60mph stretch of the busy A5. Just beyond the A5 is the very busy A55 again very close to the perimeter of the campsite. It was very loud at night with a constant flow of vehicles. My family and I were woken regularly through the night by traffic noise.

I booked this site for friends who found the site very clean,well maintained and friendly.We all found the on site bar an advantage.They had their pooch with them who was welcomed too.Would definately return again.
