Lots of space to camp away from other people.
Beautiful lake to fish on.
Had a lovely break away and would definitely stay again.
Follow what three words when travelling - my confirmation text and website had 2 different postcodes which didn't take us to where we needed to go.

No lighting in the toilets - but took a torch as advised :)

A friendly host, the owner Peter, greeted us on arrival and said we could find somewhere to pitch up. We had a look around the site and found a great spot surrounded by tall willow trees and adjacent to a lake, there were a few picnic benches on the pitch and a water standpipe right next to us.
Toilet block was small but clean enough with a good shower and dishwashing facilities all under cover.
The site is a great retreat from the nearby busy cities of Bristol and Bath in essentially a tranquil secluded valley.
We’ll definitely be back 😊

Not so much a dislike but something to be aware of - there are no lights on site so you’ll need a torch to find your way to (and use) the facilities after dark!

The campsite was beautifully laid out and run, the lakes were really pretty, they allowed bbqs which was really great. Facilities simple, but clean. Owner was very friendly/ helpful. Very nice stay.

Plenty of space in a nice setting around the lake (wished we had parked there but opted for space near facilities))

Toilet block had only one cubicle and one shower on each of male and female side.
Semi permanent residents on site were noisy in the evening and also when getting off to work early hours. Especially the one next to us that had a bean can exhaust.
