Liked: We came here in 2001 and have been a few times since. It is a delightful little campsite with a choice of pitches. We chose the "wild camp" option, which is a non-serviced pitch. It was perfect for us. The rest of the campsite is immaculate. The toilet and shower block are kept clean and tidy; recycling centre to the side. Plenty of bins, both general rubbish and dog poop bins. They are keen on conservation and alongside the recycling, have an orchard, herb garden and bee hives. A small tourist info point is a nice touch, where you can also charge small electrical items. We will happily return.

Liked: Friendly welcome. Lovely level pitches which are really well spaced so you have plenty of space between tents. Only around 10 pitches in total with stunning views so feels really peaceful. Excellent facilities, super clean and not too far to walk. Only a 5ish minute drive into Hay on Wye. Insanely good value. The nicest campsite I have ever stayed at!

Liked: Location was great, close to Hay-on-Wye, which is a great little town. Decent sized pitches.
Disliked: Wifi didn’t work, but not an issue really as 4G signal good.

Liked: Everything was great, super clean, immaculate gardens. Really friendly managers. About 2.5 miles walk across 5 fields to Hay on Wye, definitely worth the walk. Dark at night and nice and quiet

Liked: Well maintained site with great washroom and washing up facilities. Great views from our pitch.
Disliked: The site is about an hour's walk from the town, and it's seriously uphill coming back for the second half of the walk. There was no internet on the Wifi
