General

  • Family-friendly park with sea views, three miles from Saundersfoot
  • Beach 15 minutes' walk away; Folly Farm 10 minutes' drive
  • Heated indoor pool, family bar, amusement arcade and gym

Meadow House Holiday Park is set upon clifftops within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the only coastal national park in the UK, and has direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and its 186 miles of walks.

Look in the other direction from the clifftop for views across the Pembrokeshire countryside, or around the park for 16 acres of grounds with palm trees, shrubs and hedgerows planted to attract local wildlife. Pitches are well laid out with adequate space, with a choice of grass or hardstanding. Amenities include a launderette, washing-up area, water points, recently refurbished toilets and showers with free hot water.

Meadow House is a family-friendly park and an ideal place to ‘relax and explore’. Facilities include a heated indoor pool (free of charge), a family bar with outdoor terrace, an amusement arcade and outdoor playground. The park also has a new gym, reserved for adults. Occasional evening entertainment is provided on Saturdays in high season.

As Meadow House is deep in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, less than 15 minutes’ walk from the sands of Amroth and Saundersfoot, and close to two of Pembrokeshire’s main family attractions – Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm – you’ll find plenty of other things to do all around.

Meadow House doesn't have a shop, but there are plenty of shops locally to provide all you need: a supermarket in Kilgetty, local shops in Amroth and local farm shops stocking tasty Pembrokeshire produce.

Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award

Please note

The indoor swimming pool is open between 03/01 and 12/01.

Tents are not accepted at this park.

We had a lovely stay. There were great dog friendly walks down to two beaches (perhaps a long way for a family but perfect for us and our Collie). We tried the pool which was lovely and very quit at that time of year. The restaurant did lovely food and was very welcoming. We stayed on he’d standing in our motor home. There is had standing (with grass surrounding) and grass pitches, but the campsite is mostly static caravans. Lovely views down to the sea from some area of the park) not from caravan pitches though!

Would be good to have a dog bath!

Lovely clean site with lovely facilities. Nice walks to Wisemans bridge, copper hall and Saundersfoot. Food in the restaurant very nice although a little pricey but don’t mind paying for good food. Lovely friendly staff. Will definitely be booking again.

    Disliked:

Could do with some lighting down to the tourers pitch for darker nights.
Stated there was an arcade but this wasn’t the case. Could do with a little more for younger children to entertain during the evenings.
Signal very poor but was warned about this.

    Disliked:

No Toilet for the disabled on touring pitches!
No or very little effort to recycle waste.
The showers and toilets, especially the shower curtains were very old and dirty!
The whole block of toilets needs to be pulle down and rebuilt to modern standards.

Local attractions

Amroth is a short walk away, but be warned Meadow House is on a hill – so getting there is easy and it's a healthy walk back (great for burning up the calories from all those ice-creams in Amroth).

The major attractions of Pembrokeshire are not far away: Oakwood, Folly Farm and Heatherton are a short drive away, to name but a few of the fabulous days out you can have in Pembrokeshire. If you fancy something a little more sedate, have afternoon tea in the tearooms in Bosheston followed by a stroll around the famous lily ponds, soaking up the history of Pembroke Castle.

Or have an afternoon in the boutiques of Narberth, savouring the local produce available in the farm shops. Saundersfoot and Tenby are not far away to explore either: Tenby (15 minutes) is a traditional seaside town with pastel-washed buildings overlooking the harbour, and Saundersfoot (10 minutes) is home to a pretty harbour, six pubs and the setting of New Year's Day dips for brave local swimmers.

Must see

  • Pembroke Castle (11.1 miles)
  • Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (11.6 miles)
  • Pembrey Country Park (16.1 miles)

National Trust

  • Tudor Merchant's House (4.3 miles)
  • Stackpole Estate (13.2 miles)
