Open 1st April until the end of the first week in October. Home Farm is a small family run campsite in a village which is mainly stone built with some thatched cottages. From the tenting field there is wonderful views across the Bride Valley. The pub is nearby. It is situated in a beautiful conservation area in West Dorset. All pitches are on grass and either unserviced or sem-serviced with electric hook up. We accept tents, caravans, camper vans, motor homes, dive boats and sailing boats. Dogs are free but must be kept on a lead at all times. We accept cheques as a deposit and the balance in cash on arrival. Please prebook by telephone Facilities include: Toilets, showers, wash basins, hair dryers, razor points, washing up sinks, gas exchange, chemical disposal point, parking by your pitch

Tents Only: - Take the A35, 2 miles after Winterbourne Abbas, turn left just before dual carriageway. follow road to Litton Cheney, then to Puncknowle. If travelling from Bridport or Weymouth, take the B3157 coast road and turn off at Swyre. Route for Caravans: - Dorchester to Bridport on A35. Go to Bridport. From Bridport take the B3157. Turn off at Swyre, then to Puncknowle.

Local attractions

This is a good area for touring and walking with scenic views everywhere. We are one mile from West Bexington with the Chesil Beach, South West Coast Path and Shore line fishing. West Bay has a Harbour with RIB Cruises, Water sking/boarding, Crab Fishing and a Golf Course nearby. Abbotsbury has a Swannery, Sub Tropical Gardens and a play area in the Tythe Barn. The Jurassic Coast extends from Swanage to Lyme Regis and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Coast. Fossil Hunting from Charmouth beach, Lyme Regis has its famous Cobb and Habour where many films have been made/ Weymouth has a long sandy Beach, Punch and Judy, Sand Sculptures, Donkey Rides, RSPB Reserve, Sea Life Centre and more. Dorchester is an old Roman town and has excellent museum with many roman artifacts. It also has Maiden Castle and Iron Age Fort and the Old Crown Courts and Cells. Home of the famous writer Thomas Hardy. Burton Bradstock has a beach, Cliffs and a Cafe and the South West Coastal path. Swanage has a nice beach and Steam railway to Corfe Castle. Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor are on the Purbeck peninsula.
