- Luxury Bell Tents
- A 15-minute drive to Bewl Water and 20 minutes to Tunbridge Wells
- Bell tents come with extras like beds, linen and cooking facilities
Not confident of your tent-building skills? Outdoor hols can still be yours – get yourself over to Life's a Pitch, a gorgeous glamping site in the Kent countryside for a dreamy stay in fully-furnished accommodation in a meadow and woodland setting with added prettiness from bunting, fairy lights and dreamcatchers.
Each unit comes with a double bed plus a couple of single airbeds (with all linen included) and a utility pack filled with basic bits and bobs for cooking. A table and seating are also provided, along with extra camping chairs on the outdoor decking for leaning back with a cold one at the end of the day.
If the urge to get up from the comfy spot you’ve carved out for yourself takes hold, loads of woodland trails can be wandered straight from the site. And if you fancy going further, lots of trips to suit all tastes are easy to take from here as well.
Try Bewl Water (a 15-minutes drive away) for starters, to roam along 12.5 miles of paths, hire a bike, fly fish or row a boat, then dawdle on dry land at Scotney Castle in the River Bewl valley (also 15 minutes away). Other outdoorsy options in the region include Groombridge Place Estates for its formal gardens and fairytale-themed adventure forest, half an hour from the park.

Amazing site with brilliant facilities. Friendly staff!!
Lovely site, great setting and luxury bell tents
From the manager...
I’m pleased you enjoyed the bell tent and glad to hear you felt welcomed by myself and Richard. I was very disappointed to read your comments about noise levels and toilet cleanliness, as this is something the campsite owner normally manages well, its a shame we weren't aware of this at the time as we would have rectified it immediately. Thank you for sharing your feedback, Niki
Site with very clean facilities, close to local pubs and shops.

A place that impressed Queen Victoria so much her son added ‘Royal’ to the start of its name, Tunbridge Wells is a top town about 20 minutes from the site. Get a glimpse of the Georgian colonnaded buildings in The Pantiles while browsing the boutiques and you’ll soon see why regal types took such a liking to this place.
For architecture of a different sort, swing by The Hop Farm (20 minutes’ drive) to check out the world’s biggest cluster of oast houses; also around the big country park are huge inflatable trampolines, laser tag and a 4D cinema (plenty to keep the kids busy for a bit).
Alternatively, take leave from Tunbridge Wells in historical fashion on The Spa Valley Railway, which runs from town to the High Rocks, acres of sandstone land linked up with 11 bridges for strolls with snazzy views (20 minutes' drive).
Or how about heading towards the inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood, Ashdown Forest (40 minutes’ drive), where Winnie-the-Pooh was invented? You can even wave hola to the llamas at a dedicated park along the way…
