What customers say
Butt Farm is a highly recommended, peaceful campsite with friendly, helpful owners. Visitors praise the clean, well-maintained facilities, including hot showers and useful kitchen amenities like freezers. Pitches are noted as being spacious and level. The site's location offers beautiful rural views and easy access to Beverley, with convenient proximity to local shops. The presence of animals and thoughtful touches like local information and fire pits are also highlighted as positives. While some mention a lack of Wi-Fi and occasional wind, overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive.

Everything was great! Quiet wee place with all the sounds and smells…
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Everything was great! Quiet wee place with all the sounds and smells of a working farm. The cows in the fields love a wee scratch of their chins and behind their ears!! We had our dog so, a few nice walks especially to the pubs in Wellington - a special mention to The Dog & Drake as the owners have a Hungarian Vizsla like ours! Olly & Jen have also thought to place several ‘dog poo’ bins around the site!
There is a fridge & freezer with a picnic bench, sinks for washing-up and access to plugs to charge phones too!
Loos and showers are clean and well-maintained - just like the rest of the site.

Lovely straightforward site. Good facilities and level pitches.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked Butt Farm is a straightforward site which caters well for campers. Pitches are level and roomy, cars can be parked on pitch. Showers are free and hot, washing up facilities are good. Dog-friendly site. Lots of nice touches - walking and cycling maps, friendly goats, chickens, a wildflower meadow. Supermarket is a ten minute walk away. No wifi (who needs it?) but mobile signal is ok.
I thoroughly recommend it, and I'd use it again. One thing to be aware of - this is flat country, and when it's windy, it's windy. I brought a beach windbreak with me and a few extra tent pegs and I was glad I did so. Worked a treat.
Disliked Nothing. I had a lovely time.

Quiet with well divided pitches and level.
Primitive grass tent, campervan or trailer tent campsite
Liked The closeness to Beverley that was easy to cycle to. Also a good centre as well served by buses and trains.
Nice to see the young stock grazing and their reactions to being fed.
Facilities were fine and clean. We liked the free use of the freezer and the secure bike storage if needed.
Disliked The pitch was a little too open to the wind for our tent so we had to leave early. There was no mention of this in the literature on your website. No Wi Fi
