Liked: A clean and well-kept little site, which is good value for your money There are no campsite facilities like toilets and showers, so you need to be completely self-contained and independent. There is water and electricity to each plot, and a useful dog-walking area adjacent to the site. Just a few minutes drive from Seahouses and Bamborough.
Disliked: Nothing to complain of - unless you are expecting five-star facilities. Some contact from the proprietor would have been nice, though.
Pleased you liked us overall, its hard to get to chat with everyone, we run other businesses, though usually one of us is grass cutting between 11 and 1, but often our visitors are out and about.

Disliked: Price was a bit steep for no facilities and additional costing for awnings and windbreakers
Pleased you enjoyed our site in general, if you do your homework you'll find we are at the low to mid price bracket with a number of locations considerably more expensive than ourselves. and also pleased that it hasn't appeared to put you off visiting again. Just a note - not sure how you can score us one for child friendliness when we are adult only?

Liked: Love love love this site. Quiet and beautifully maintained its close to the beautiful village of Seahouses, fantastic beach which is dog friendly all year. I've been before and this time took my mum, it feels very safe, relaxing and welcoming. I will definitely be back

Can't please all the people all the time. Wi-fi has become a bit flaky since the trees between the site and office have suddenly burst into leaf. We've only been made aware of this a week after your stay. May be pointing out you had an ongoing problem at the time would have been the best course of action. Remedial work has been carried out, and a permanent fix is due to be installed 24th June.

Liked: Small cosy site close to Seahouses, compact field with open views. Walkable into town or a 5-6 min bike ride on the flat. EHU and very spacious pitches with countryside views. Self check in and easy to find your pitch etc, friendly owner on site giving good advice where to go
Disliked: Always a shame when there's no showers or WC's (but you know that when you book!) or would have stayed longer
Thanks for your positive feedback and pleased you'd return. We emphasize that people must be self sufficient in their vans regarding bathroom facilities and have people staying often for 2 weeks or more, so guests just need to be happy with that scenario.
