Initial shower, good shower and good temperature.
Staff (guy on duty very helpful and approachable). Walks from site, large map to explain where they all started, where to and how hard along with duration. Site very clean, great facilities, including fast fibre wireless Internet if required. Able to hire out a fire basket, logs and kindling, which made for a nice atmosphere. Would have given 5 stars had it not been for cold showers, which are pretty fundamental. Great site for families with kids, there are donkeys and sheep, and we had were greeted by two friendly ponies on one of our walks. Most pitches are grass and not level, so if in MH, caravan or campervan bring your levelling blocks.Allnin all I would recommend and would come back again.

Both myself and hubby went for a shower after a long walk, around 1.30pm. Both stone cold.
On arrival, walked to Reception to read a sign telling us to go back to red telephone box to find pitch number, would have been better to have received a text, to say go to red phone box, or just to say the pitch and field number, which we had at another site.

Great facilities, very friendly staff. Pitches were well organised and the views were spectacular.

Although I can understand, the 10:30 fire curfew seemed a little early.

Fire pits heavy/awkward to carry if you're pitched well away from the collection point.

The location is absolutely perfect, secluded and private but not too far from the town. Facilities are clean and well maintained.
