The site is very small and it has everything needed. Very clean and nice surroundings. The landlords are very nice people and we had a nice Saturday evening at the bar on site with the other people camping there.

Only downside was that there is tent pitch right next to the toilets and showers. If you are early riser and want to use wash facilities you have to consider that you will awake poor people staying in the tent literally 2m away from you. Not a sound proof building..

A tiny bit of work could be done on toilet/ shower facilities but honestly for the price couldnt complaint

Just brilliant, couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. Facilities were great and the spot was peaceful, just what we needed. If you're looking to get away from your phones and laptops this place is perfect, some stunning scenery on the way in and plenty of walking and countryside on the doorstep.

We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere although that wasn’t true as places not too far out but this is a great place to completely unwind, very little phone signal which was a bonus for us. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and will definitely return!

Everything!! The site is nice and quiet and almost in the middle of nowhere so no busy roads nearby to interrupt the sounds of the sheep and birds which first thing in the morning with a cup of tea was a world away from the normal daily life hustle and bustle and the added bonus of being able to have a campfire meant the evenings were spent watching the sun go down while the flickering flames kept us warm.
During the day there was plenty to do with the woodland walks and the tree swing only a few minutes walk away which our 9 year old throughly enjoyed although he didn't fancy saying hello to the sheep.
The owners were very helpful and only a stones throw away if you needed them for anything.
The only downside is the lack of phone signal which I won't put as disliked as it gave me more time admiring the lovely surroundings and wildlife instead if being glued to a phone screen. WiFi is offered to everyone but can be hit and miss wether you get signal or not.
Overall our weekend away was a nice relaxing one! If you want a quiet weekend away in would highly recommend this site.
