The exceptionally helpful host. The showers and toilet block were always very clean. The pitch was very big with views over the hills , it was beautiful. The hedges around the hard standing with grass pitches were a nice touch that added some privacy. Small and perfect site.

Loved the location really peaceful. The hut was immaculately clean bath sheets instead of a small bath towels were provided everything was perfectly appointed.

The wasps in the hedge. It would’ve been quite nice to have wasp trap but understandably it is a rural location and unfortunately wasps are part of our world!

Great size pitches, clean and tidy facilities. Great location with lots to do nearby.

A beautifully quiet site, with a sense of privacy created by the hedgerows between spaces. The Shepherd’s hut was impeccably clean and well stocked with all the necessary equipment, and the beds were extremely comfortable. It was lovely that the owners left maps and Severn walks out for you to peruse by the toilet facilities, which were also spotless.
One of the nicest, most peaceful sites we have stayed at. The photos don’t do it justice.
Lots of fun places to visit nearby, but also nice cycling routes and walks if you want to keep the costs down.

Loved this site. It's absolutely beautiful. I've never seen campsite toilets/showers so clean. Every time I went it looked like it had just been cleaned. The pitches were generous and well maintained. This is a lovely quiet site with a really friendly atmosphere. My sons especially loved Rufus the alpaca and the apple juice made from the apples trees along the drive.

Positioned really nicely to explore the area, Bristol and Gloucester both close by.

Great cider available just over the road.

No wifi, but you don't really go out in to the country for internet access... Mobile coverage was ok for EE networks, but patchy on O2.

Nothing really, great place for a relaxing break

4th or 5th time I've stayed, always extremely clean and tidy. Perfect facilties, showers are the best I've seen on my travels.
