An absolute gem. We had the most perfect stay last weekend. We received further information just before we arrived which included a code through the gate directly into the forest, also if we wished to use the hot tub, which we did. It’s a beautiful location, we did lots of cycling, also walked into Coleford - 30mins, and had lovely cocktails! We will certainly be coming back.

Was great to have some piece and quiet and just have the birds to listen to.

Beautiful setting, loads of easily accessible attractions and the shepherds hut was cozy and the bed was super comfy.

Stairs on the hut were slippery when they were wet, and the fridge was extremely small, with only one hob. 'self catering' was a bit of a stretch!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The shepherd's hut was beautiful and so clean, and communication from the owner was excellent. We loved the hot tub and BBQ and had the best night of sleep we've had in a long time in the hut. As other reviews have noted the WiFi didn't work but we that was perfect for us as it gave us chance to switch off completely. We only stayed for one night but wish we had the time to stay for longer - we'll definitely be booking again in the future!

Shepherds hut was absolutely beautiful and really clean inside. Location was great.

There was a mismatch between the website information and confirmation information that caused confusion over what we needed to bring and didn’t need and communication slow to clarify. It resulted in us packing stuff we didn’t need and missing stuff we did. Not the end of the world but a slight spoiler.

Lovely, quiet area. Clean and stocked hut. Everything you need to stay warm, cosy and clean! Would stay again.

Amazing destination, felt fully secluded in nature. The hut was a great size and with en-suite. All amenities that you need included. We stayed for 3 nights overall and wished we could have stayed longer! Keep in mind signal is poor in the general wye river area so download films beforehand :)

Exactly what we needed! Cabin was gorgeous and had everything we needed! Great communication from the host on how to get there!

Really nice place, sat with a barbecue into the evening. Great instructions and support from owners. Would deffonatly recommend.
