So many things to do. Make your own campfire - if you do not have your own portable, then rent. If you do not have wood, they drive around and sell. A little forest walk behind the field and plenty of areas for children to play there. A nice little playground on the site. Indian restaurant next door. Five minute walk to steam train and boat rental and cafe, and a couple more minutes to a pizza place, ice cream shop and nice pub. Quick check in . Very clean bathrooms. We will be returning.

We could not use the shop on site because the couple times we tried the owners were busy (one time this was delivering wood around the site ) and the hours or location did not seem to be sign posted.

Kids play area could be renewed and could be bigger.

Before I left the site I had to make a visit to reception to thank team for a wonderful stay …. I can honestly not find any fault with this lovely site , we stayed in one of the pods and it was so comfortable, the showers and washing up facilities were new and always cleaned , it’s such a chill site and the location is great for days out , we will definitely be returning as I’ve found my favourite camp site for sure.

Steam Train just round corner was a fun alternative when it was raining.

Awesome stay we had at Rother Valley Caravan and Camping Park. Very peaceful place with helpful owners. Toilets and showers are in top condition, wicked place we definitely come back next year.

Lovely clean toilets and shower block, helpful and friendly owners. A safe place for the kids to roam. Once they’d got off their phones they were just like normal kids again!
Lots of birds all around. I could hear the yellowhammer from my bed in the mornings. Perfect .

Stunning campsite- super clean, lovely views and welcoming owners. Despite the wind and rain we found the local area beautiful to explore and the steam trains at the bottom of the site was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Staff were super friendly and happy to help. Lent us a pump, as I forgot mine. Reopened the shop up so I could hire a firepit
