Level pitches. We’ll designed probably by an ardent camper, spacious showers, plenty of washing up sinks, even a proper dog wash station, spotlessly clean. To have Wi-Fi at tent is a first for me, top marks.

Neighbours pitching close and inconsiderately. It was busy but there was enough space that they didn’t need to be sitting right next to us! 50p for a shower is a bit penny pinching

Lovely site, great views, friendly welcome at reception, good size electric pitch, fire pits included and delivered to pitch along with the firewood we ordered on arrival. Toilet and shower block, modern and clean and the showers were well worth the extra 50p
Loved the dog exercise field across the lane.
Free WiFi much to the joy of the teenagers in our group.

Pizza and chips only served on a Saturday so we missed out on this, maybe consider extra nights in school holidays

We liked the facilities on this campsite, we were in a campervan on the non electric tent pitch, which was perfect for us with young kids as they could run and play on the middle of the field without us worrying about them. Staff were helpful, being able to have a firepit delivered to your pitch and buy wood every day was a nice touch. Toilets and showers were always spotless, 50p for 10 mins in the shower, good size cubicles. We managed to get a picnic table which was great for sitting outside with family who were also staying on the site.

We had an issue with the electric but it was sorted straightaway
second time We have stayed and will do again, we stay here as a base and go into the lakes, it is a log way to travel if you want to go further afield than Windermere (Keswick, Buttermere etc) but we like the site so much we are willing to travel.
