Liked: Lovely couple on a great peaceful campsite. Helpful, friendly, good facilities, great space, lovely walks on your doorstep. Our kids absolutely loved it. Half way through 12 days touring we chose here to stop for 3 days, I’m really glad we did. Felt right at home and got to watch the football too!
Disliked: The showers weren’t very easy with 3 small kids (but not many places are) disabled facilities were best in the end.

Liked: Very well kept, lovely staff, loved the grassed area with hard standing plots. Added bonus was the WiFi and free cycle area and use of the fire pits.
Disliked: Needs better toilet and shower facilities, but wasn't a problem as we already new what to expect.

Liked: A lovely walk into Mousehole. Phone charging shed and fire pits to use, were a nice touch. Hard standings were neat with grass patch to the side and easy access to plug in.

Liked: Friendly and welcoming owners who are based on the site. Clean site, very quiet area
Disliked: Facilities. Showers and toilets very outdated as they are the football teams changing rooms. No privacy for showering as only separated from the next person by a shower curtain! Washing up area is a trough, so make sure you take a washing up bowl, no wear to dry your dishes etc and not undercover if it's raining

Felt secure, well lit.
Good pitch sizes and surrounding space.Disliked: Washing facilities difficult to shave or brush teeth as limited sinks and people needing to wash their hands after using the toilet. Fix this and some pop up showers and would have given 5 stars as everything else was perfect and would stay again

Thanks for your review - we thought it was really fair! We know that we need to improve the quality and location of the main shower, toilet and washing up facilities and we hope to have a new facilities ready for the summer 2024 season.

Liked: Awesome site and pitches, friendly staff on and around site all the time, and fairly clean facilities. Free tickets to Mousehole FC (where the camp site is based) watching some great football at a welcoming club - the pasty shack is a must!
Disliked: A really long walk to the facilities (across the camp site and around the football pitch), though this might be remedied with plans to build a fresh block for 2024 - they currently use the football ground and these facilities are also limited. Also, Wi-Fi. not great but not a major issue!
