Loved everything about the place from the super friendly reception from the owner, to the vires across the Torrs. The shower/toilet rooms were spotlessly clean, large and heated!! The gravel pitches were a good size and firepits available. The site is small and friendly, and has a variety of chickens, ducks, peacocks and rabbits (amongst others) for younger children to look at.

We will definitely make a return visit next time we're in Cornwall.

Wonderful views, quite, the family who run this were very welcoming, helpful, nothing was to much trouble. They made our stay more enjoyable than expected. Would highly recommend to all. Showers and toilets spotless.

The owners Trish & Paul & their daughter Michelle were so accommodating and friendly, they even made us a cup of tea on arrival & offered to help where they could ☺️
Trish offered to bake my daughter a cake for her 7th birthday & bought her a gift which she was so pleased with, really going above & beyond for their guests. We also had a 3 yr old and 1.5yr old who loved the animals and safe space to roam freely & play! Clean facilities everyday, fire pit, bbq, shared fridge & kettle all great extras in a lovely location. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your home in Mount Pleasant Farm

Our hosts were helpful, friendly and kind.
It's a lovely family run site.
The grass was well kept and a flat pirch. Plenty for kids to do with chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits and peacocks. Our kids loved waking up to help collect the eggs in the morning. The stars were beautiful and we heard a couple of owls one night.
The facilities were clean even in bad weather and it was great having comforts like hot showers, access to fridge and kettle.
It is in a good location for Okehampton and the Moor. Lovely library in Okehampton to shelter from the rain and free fun for kids. We borrowed an OS map of Dartmoor from it to help us find the best wild swimming spots.

This is the third year staying here and I personally hope it never changes.
A very peaceful and quiet site the owners/Manager were extremely welcoming and friendly and the facilities more than adequate for customers.
There are numerous animals for youngster to visit and help feed. Rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese (beware The Bite) and two Peacocks plus an number of dogs.

Wow. What can I say, Paul and Trish were amazing from the moment we arrived, so welcoming and helpful. Paul gave us a tour of the site and pointed out the very handy electric kettle! A cuppa was so needed after a busy day exploring and it was nice not to have to wait for the gas in our van!

We travelled with our 5 year old son who is animal mad, Paul took the time to walk him round all of the animals and then invited him to meet a baby duckling just 2 days old. Our son also helped collect the eggs and feed the animals the next morning. The dogs on site are ever so friendly and very well behaved. Trish kindly gave our son some leftover bread to feed the ducks the next morning which he loved.

The campsite itself is lovely! We stayed on the hard standing pitch, which was next to a grassy area with picnic benches and communal bbqs which we enjoyed. Our son played with the multitude of garden games provided which gave us both some time to cook and organise dinner.

The bathroom facilities are excellent, spotlessly clean and the family shower room is ideal. The shower is hot and powerful, exactly what we all needed after a long day. We all slept so well, the site is peaceful and relaxing.

Can’t wait to book again, highly recommend. Our favourite campsite we’ve ever visited.
