Liked: Lovely quiet site on a working farm! Owners are absolutely lovely, welcoming whatever the weather!
Facilities are basic, but perfect for what we were expecting. Showers were warm, so that’s all that matters!
We stayed in a rail cabin, lovely with the stove going (I recommend getting some coal for the night as it lasts longer than the wood). Slept very well.

Liked: Easy check in, secluded lovely friendly owner of very helpfull, provided what we needed and left us to enjoy, definitely go again maybe in summer this time, ps penny the dog is fantastic, loved her.

Liked: It was a lovely little farm :) very accommodating last minute the tent pitches had a lovely view and the holiday cottage is amazing if you have a bigger group, so cozy. Location is great just outside of coniston with an easy 10 minute drive.

Disliked: It would be great if children could stay in the camping pods, but understand this is a working farm.

Rail pod equipped with fireplace as nice addition,wood can be purchased from the owner.
Fire pit and benches are next to each pod.working farm with animals walking around, friendly dogs that spend a time with us.Disliked: We could booked more days

Liked: Great view from the flat pitching field, a few nice hikes directly from the campsite. Spacious hot showers with shower gel caddy with seperate changing area.
We liked the fact that it was a quiet and a relaxed camp site.
We liked the free roaming goats, ducks, geese and dogs.Disliked: The washing up area and toilets were pretty busy at peak times, but hot water at washing area was a bonus.
