Very nice campsite..strongly recommended

We liked everything about this unusual but very pleasing site.
The pitches were good sizes, something for everyone, the facilities were superb, very new, very modern, very user friendly.

Quiet, good position geographically for going places, price for this time of year is good but wouldn't want to pay more.
Has a kind of wild camping feel.

Good-ish on site wifi.
Would stay again but ensure get here as soon as possible in the afternoon to get a suitable pitch.

Poor disabled access for toilets, really awful if you've any kind of mobility issues. There's no flat level entry and the family room has a huge step into it. Needs ramps or non slip concrete slope to get in.
Washing up in the rain outside as there's no canopy over the washing up area.
The first come first served pitch allocation, really needs addressing. Campers in large pitches, caravans struggling to get into tight ones because of small vehicles in large pitches.

The tent area at kessock is a refreshing change from the large open fields common at other sites. The surrounding woods give a real feeling of being in nature. The communal fire pits are also a nice touch not seen in other sites. Well equipped shower and bathroom facilities.

A very minor detail, the showers would benefit from a lock which shows the room as occupied to avoid interrupting someones privacy by testing the door

Show blocks were deceiving but when inside were brilliant.

As we arrived late the motorhome pitch was a bit tight for the vehircle, yet other vehicles that smaller had bigger pictures ie Campervans.

Site was set out nice,clean and tidy would go again when nearby

Well set out individual fir lined pitches, clean and modern showers and washing facilities. 10 minute drive into Inverness. Would definitely recommend.
