Everything was easily accessible. The toilets and showers were cleaned regularly. Washing facilities were great. The bar and shop where reasonably priced. Café food was lovely and available for good extended hours.
Aqua Park was a brilliant feature for the kids.
Really easy access to local amenities too.

Having to call security in the night, maybe regular patrols would have been better.
Climbing wall wasn't advertised as well as it should have been. It didn't state that you could JUST climb one side of the wall and nothing else.

Lake activities, great size of pitches, calm atmosphere and reasonably clean facilities

Very limited activities apart from the water sports. In climbing, each child is given one attempt to climb (whereas in other activity centres a group of children would move from one wall to the next). A basic playground.

Beautiful surroundings, lots to do, each amenities cubicle had all you need to get ready (toilet, shower and sink), friendly and helpful staff.

Needs a bigger play park

We loved it there, none of us wanted to come home. It’s lovely and clean, staff are all friendly and plenty of activities to do.

There is a problem now after many years of coming to Hatfield I have found it is getting too relaxed with the noise and party’s. In the day time it’s hard to relax as music is playing all over and too many large groups. An a night noise goes on without any staff doing their rounds to listen out for the drunk singers and dancers.

They need an activity pack for you to buy like water sports weekends as the prices soon add up.

Stayed at Hatfield a few times now and we just love it.

Pitch 49 didn't understand the rules...

Friendly and informative check in. Clear signage of pitches, site very clean and tidy. When we stayed the weather was quite bad so there were sometimes a few muddy footprints in the toilets, but this is down to other campers, not the site! Cleaned regularly (along with a mop and bucket available if needed!)
Showers were nice and warm, room was plenty big enough and self contained (shower, toilet, hand dryer and heated towel rack).
Family friendly, there is a small park for children on site, with a brilliant field next to the site (we had a dog with us so the field was perfect!) there is a bigger play park on the field as well as football pitches. Town is a short walk away.
Water park was great fun, lots of different activities. (We did use a wowcher voucher to make it cheaper as there were 6 of us using the water park).
Brilliant site whether you want to relax or take part in activities.

Where do we complain about the weather haha

Clean toilet and shower block, close to water taps, flat pitches, on-site activities were 10/10

Only disappointment was the noise on Friday night. This was not dealt with by the on-site security team and continued until after 3am however on the second night they changed security and noise was at a minimum by 11pm which was great.
