comms with owners timely in regards booking and check inDisliked: nothing really, shame cafe was not open and limited other facilities in nearby villages, bring your food for cooking!

Disliked: Owner wasn’t welcoming, made a sarcastic comment as soon as we got there, we felt like a burden being there like we were on her property & she didn’t want us there, we spoke to the only other people staying there & they laughed & said they felt the same. Pizza & waffles were advertised on website as if there was a place to get them but when we asked for some the owner said no (the owner makes them in her own kitchen when she feels like). Fairy lights were advertised in the tent but none of them worked, nothing for the kids to do, we were meant to stay there 2 nights but ended up just leaving early in the morning after 1 night.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your stay, as you stated only 1 toilet and shower, however we do keep numbers low to allow for this on the nights you stayed there was only 6 people on site.
We are a farm campsite so we do not have flat allocated pitches.
If we had been made aware of the noisy group we could have dealt with the situation. We pride ourselves on our customer service at Cae Glas and Aaron & Myself are always on hand to deal with any issues, unfortunately as we were not aware of the issues you had we could not deal with them during your stay.

Liked: The site was stunning and so peaceful. I was travelling with my mum and pitched up a tent for a couple of days. We were two of only a handful of campers at this time, so sharing facilities was no issue. The toilet and shower was a lovely addition, and was handy to have some additional portaloos incase it got busy. The cafe wasn’t open during our visit sadly, but there is a wonderful pub just up the road and BBQ facilities at the site. We loved the two dogs and the other animals on the site. This was also a lovely addition. We took a quick 10 min drive to the National park and ventured along the paths to the waterfalls.
Disliked: I can’t fault anything, we had a wonderful stay.
Very disappointed to hear you didn’t enjoy your stay with us, I do not recall any sarcastic comment on your arrival, however if you felt that was the case I apologise we go out of our way here to make our campers stay welcoming, as I did with yourselves and went out of my way to provide a flask of hot water for you on request. As for the waffles and pizza, they are not made in my own kitchen we have a cafe at the back of the property, we were unable to provide them during your stay as we are only open on weekends as advertised.
If you had informed me during your stay the lights did not work I would have changed them for you immediately.
We are a farm campsite with animals for the children to meet and lots of walking areas, the camping field is large with plenty of room for children to play, we do not have a park or children’s entertainment we are not that kind of site and do not advertise as such.
