Liked: We stayed for two nights on a hardstanding pitch, and left wishing we had booked longer. The site is clean and well maintained, the facilities excellent, and the welcome warm, much appreciated after what had been a trying journey up the M5.
Because it's so close to the motorway, I think many use the site as a stopover, as we did. But really it's worthy of being a destination itself, with good bus links to Cheltenham and Gloucester, and within easy driving distance of the Cotswolds.
I'm sure our next stay a Briarfields will be long enough to take advantage of this.Disliked: One negative, traffic noise from the nearby A40, and a very busy roundabout on it. All I can say is that you do get used to it (well we did), and the positives of this site far outweigh this one negative.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean amenities, easy access to both Cheltenham and Gloucester by bus. Lovely pitches with grass and hardstanding separated by hedges for privacy. Easy access from motorway. Nice pub and Garden centre within walking distance. Would definitely return.

Liked: Absolutely excellent site , immaculate everywhere, friendly staff , great to find motorhome service point for grey water etc, well placed for Cheltenham and Gloucester, another plus was the dog exercise area and facilities were top notch
Disliked: Very noisy site being very close to A40 and Gloucester Rd and the airfield ,with mainly prop planes taking off every few minutes during the day , we also now realise it’s near Gloucester Hospital so blue light ambulances were constantly flying past so not the place for a peaceful holiday , but as long as you can cope with above gives you good access to the Cotswolds villages and attractions
