Too crowded, sites too close together

The experience was incredible! Lovely accommodation and a super comfy bed, plus the hot tub was such a nice touch and very enjoyable to relax after a day of activities. And to make it even more amazing, there was a lovely basket of breakfast items and coffee left at our doorstep each morning! It was the perfect getaway for our anniversary weekend :D

The wifi didn't work very well, although when you are in such a beautiful location and enjoying nature who really needs it?

Friendly staff, easy check in, well maintained wooden lodge cabin with private hot tub and wash facilities. Also the site of the cabins were above the main campsite so was much more peaceful. Liked the fact that the staff came around at 3pm to light the wooden stove for the hot tub and also included was delivery in the morning of a breakfast basket, which was enjoyed al fresco in the sun each day. Good supermarket and restaurant on site.

Great location right next to the lake and the walking and cycling tracks although a good map is required.

Toilets very clean and modern.

Bread bikes are out every morning selling a mixture of local breads inc. pan au chocolate - 1/2 chocolate and 1/2 custard, coissants with & without apricot, danish pastries with coconut & poppyseeds, seeded breads, loaves, apple strudle.

Kids club has plenty on. Usually a family walk in the morning then 3 activities from 5pm inc trampolining, painting, water slide, big inflatable footballs, archery, disco, torchlight walk arourd lake, lanterns to sail on the lake, international camping games to name a few.

Theres a small mini market, restaurant and bar at the entrance. A little pricy but lovely food.

The units were crammed in. We shared the space for our guy lines with next door. No 6m UK rule here. By the time we left after 2 weeks the numbers had reduced & it was really plesant with plenty of space. Personally avoid early/mid Aug.

It rains here and our pitch had turned to mud by the time we left. The ground sheets needed cleaning before putting them in the car.

The toilets were well managed through the busy period but when it quietened off they started running out of toilet rolls and hand towels on a regular basis.

Flexibility of the staff (super late check-in)
Helpfulness of staff, they were there for every need (recommendations, problem solving, always with a smile)
Facilities - super clean toilets and bathrooms with an exclusive feel (showers just amazing)
Location - so close to the lake
Extras, like phone charging boxes, hose for washing your car, recycling waste, encouraging zero waste

There was nothing to dislike

Noisy and very busy. I wish I read all the reviews before I booked! Massive site, full of screaming toddlers, not to mention the midnight open air film presentation in the middle of the road!?!
3 mini busses with a large group of young people turned up and pitched their 10 tents behind us. For 2 of our 3 nights we didn't get to sleep till well after one in the morning and they left the sinks in the washing up area blocked with food leftovers.
I was expecting to pay a balance of €121 as per email from Pitchup, but was charged €156. The guy at reception tried his best to explain the discrepancy, but I still don't understand why I had to pay the extra €35.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities clean.
Restaurant fairly priced, though food very average (pizza was good)
Don't rely on the on site grocery store for fresh supplies for cooking.
Small adequate stores within walking distance, if you don't mind a hike. Bring supplies with you!
Bled is a busy tourist trap, best enjoyed early in the morning when most people are still in bed and before the endless procession of cars start.
Unfortunately our stay at Camping Bled left us with a sour taste in the mouth and blighted an otherwise fantastic experience in a beautiful country

The staff was friendly and efficient. The campsite and facilities were clean. Location was great. Wifi was super fast.

Nothing really. Maybe the price could be cheaper.

Large rocks on pitches hazardous to motorhome parking. pitches too emall

Location but also the close proximity to the Lake; friendliness of the staff; children’s play area; cleanliness of the site and the general friendly ambiance.

Whilst being positioned near the front of the site was brilliant, the access to sinks/showers was a little more limited.... the 3 sinks available for washing were shared with those using the toilets which wasn’t ideal.
