If you're after something a bit more hands-on, Heatherton World of Activities (40 minutes) has crazy golf, archery, karting, paintballing and treetop trails.

Make your way to the coast for seaside sessions at Pendine Sands beach (half an hour) for a splendid seven miles of beach. Or head to Tenby beach (40 minutes) and check out the town's museum and art gallery and Tudor Merchant’s House while you’re there.
