  • Exceptional camping and yurt holidays just minutes from the coast.
  • Just 10 camping pitches (including meadow and secluded pitches).
  • Acres of space, campfires, fab facilities and pizza nights each week.
A truly unique camping and yurt holiday experience, just minutes from the outstanding Pembrokeshire coast. That’s what we offer at Ty Parke Farm Campsite. There probably isn’t another campsite in Pembrokeshire that provides such a feeling of space and freedom - but at the same time, has great facilities and campfires! Meadow Camping To start with we have the original ‘family camping meadow’. This is a sheltered field that has seven designated pitches - each with its own campfire place and picnic table. Apart from arrival and departure days, the camping meadow is a ‘car-free zone’, so there are no ‘comings and goings’ during your stay. The camping meadow is close to our lovely facilities and the barn where we store a good supply of firewood. Cars are parked about 150 metres from the meadow. Secluded Camping Then we have the secluded camping pitches of which there are also seven. This doesn’t mean that we let them all out at once. We stick rigidly to our self-imposed ‘ten pitch limit’ - this includes the pitches in the family camping meadow. The secluded pitches are dotted around our 52 acre sheep and alpaca farm - in a little clearing amongst the new trees here, or in an open field with a huge view there. Luxury Yurt Camping! Finally, there are our four luxury glamping yurts. These are all decked out with wooden floors, wood-burning stoves, double beds, single 'twingle' beds, tables, chairs, rugs and wall hangings. In a word - amazing! Each yurt has a separate, covered outside kitchen tent, with cooker, all utensils and picnic table. We prefer this to cooking in the yurt - which is what some yurt sites do. The three ‘hideaway’ yurts also each have their own private use dry-composting loos. Working with nature We continue to ratchet up the environmental projects here, such as habitat creation, tree planting and renewable energy. We encourage the recycling of everything possible and have made provision for this. Whilst we have very nice, conventional facilities for showering, loos and washing up, we also have an 'off-grid' facility for the boys and the aforementioned composting loos for the yurts and a couple of the secluded pitches. And finally... In 2014 we built a wood-fired pizza oven and ‘pizza night’ is now a weekly ritual up at the farm house. There's a 2km nature trail around the farm. Children are completely safe (we are several hundred metres from the road (a quiet country lane) and can wander off, make new friends and enjoy the space and freedom. We are about a five minute drive (20min cycle) from our nearest beaches of Abereiddi to the north and Penycwm/Newgale to the south. We hope to welcome you here one day! Route directions

Directions to Ty Parke Farm Camping Travelling from the East From Haverfordwest head out on the Fishguard Road (A40) and half a mile after the Murco petrol station, take the turning to the left sign-posted to Camrose. The road narrows and winds its way down for about half a mile and then crosses a long narrow bridge. Keep on this road until you come to a T-junction. Turn right and stay on this road (the B4330) for approximately nine miles (passing through the villages of Hayscastle Cross and then Hayscastle) until you reach another T-junction. Turn right towards Croesgoch, bearing left where the road forks. After 500 yards you will come to a sharp left hand turn, follow this round and we are approximately 250 yards further along on the right where the road widens a little. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long, bumpy track and follow the sign for camping. Travelling from the North From Fishguard head towards St David's on the A487. After about six miles you will arrive at the bottom of Mathry. Take the left fork towards Penycwm and stay on this road until you come to a T-junction. Turn right towards Penycwm and after about a mile watch out as the road veers to the left and is again sign-posted to Penycwm. At this point take the little turning immediately to the right and at the next junction carry straight on towards Croesgoch. We are approximately 250 yards further along on the right where the road widens a little. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long track and follow the sign for camping. Travelling from the West If you find yourself in St David's, head towards Fishguard on the A487. When you arrive at Croesgoch (approximately five miles out), turn right at the Artramont Arms public house, where it is signposted to Haverfordwest. Stay on this road for about two miles. The road now turns sharp left, then sharp right, then sharp left again. You are now going down a slight hill with a small white cottage on the left. Go over the small bridge and up the other side. Ignore the next turning to the right for Ty Llanreithan and keep on for another 250 yards. The road is very narrow here so slow right down. Our entrance is on the left where the road begins to widen. Careful because it is easily missed. There are signs in the bank and on the gate that say 'PARKE' not 'TY PARKE'. Proceed up the long track and follow the sign for camping.

Local attractions

Ty Parke is located in the north west corner of Pembrokeshire - the part favoured by adventurers, walkers and young families. The sea surrounds us on three sides, so you are never more than a 5-15 minute drive from a quiet beach, a secret cove or a tiny harbour. Solva, Penycwm, Porthgain, Abereiddy, Abercastle, Aber Mawr and Aber Bach are all a short distance from here - as are the more popular beaches of Whitesands and Newgale. These are great for surfing and body-boarding and have lifeguards on duty throughout the summer. Walkers can enjoy some of the most spectacular coastline in the British Isles and an abundance of wildlife. The tiny city of St David's, with its art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops and magnificent cathedral is seven miles from the campsite.
