Liked: Great communication with the campsite owner resulting in relaxed campsite with lots of space. Basic facilities but all that's needed to spend some time outside. Field is situated in a natural dip so despite forecast encountered limited wind. Straightforward walk across field to/from the nearest pub (1.5miles). Enjoyed watching variety of birds over the site.

Liked: This place was really easy to find, called the number I received via text confirmation when I arrived and the gentleman came straight to me and showed me where the pitch site was, toilets, shower etc. Super friendly and welcoming! The site was dry and very spacious, loads of room to choose from. I was on a 3-day hike totalling 100 miles and so I pitched close to the toilets/shower! The shower itself was relatively basic, but there was enough water pressure and warmth to get clean comfortably. Would highly recommend if looking for a stopover or multi-night stay.
Disliked: The pain in my feet when I woke up!

Liked: We loved this site. The views are beautiful, there's plenty of space, and the wildlife is all around. We stayed here as a base for visiting the Weald and Downland museum (which is about 45 mins away) and it was a really nice weekend. Our children enjoyed making friends with other children on the site and playing in the field. There was plenty of room for them to run around and play without disturbing other campers. It is also really dark at night, much darker than the skies where we live - great for star gazing :)

Liked: Well spaced pitches, no campervans or cars, and some some basic ammenities make this a perfect camp site if you want to enjoy proper camping. Being in the South Downs AONB you get to enjoy dark nights (stars!) and beautiful walks.
Disliked: Unfortunately dogs are allowed, so depending on your luck you can be kept awake all night with with barking.

Liked: Title: Tranquil Haven in Picturesque Countryside I recently had the pleasure of visiting a campsite nestled in a serene and beautiful location, surrounded by breathtaking countryside and an abundance of wildlife. This hidden gem proved to be the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the peaceful ambiance that permeated the entire area. It was evident that the campsite had been carefully designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings. The lush greenery created an instantly calming atmosphere. One of the highlights of this campsite was undoubtedly the location. Located away from busy roads and tourist hotspots, it offered a true escape into nature. The tranquil surroundings allowed for uninterrupted relaxation, providing a much-needed respite from the stresses of daily routine. The friendly and welcoming staff were always on hand in the evening to assist and offer logs for the campfire
