The pitch was pretty surrounded by trees The owners were friendly and helpful. The pitches charged the same for large and small tents. Plenty of room for a car too. The price was very reasonable. Short drive to Wareham and beaches.

It needs to have a seat in the showers so you can have somewhere to put your clothes etc.

Greeted by the host who was ever so friendly, stayed and chatted for 15mins. Very welcoming and a great little secluded site. Basic facilities but all thats needed. Very close proximity to various attractions on the Jurassic Coast. Would highly recommend.

Mark was friendly and helpful. Liked how calm and tranquil it is. The campsite busied up over the weekend but everyone was looked after well and we’re all friendly.

Could do with a mop in the shower to give it a mop after the shower.

Less than 20 minutes drive to Lulworth Cove. No road noise. Friendly staff.

Poor toilet and shower facilities. There is a separate toilet and shower in one block. The locks did not work properly so people opened the door while I was on the loo. At one point the light stopped working so I was in darkness. There was another toilet and shower together in a room in another block, but the light above the toilet was not working, so couldn't see well or use the mirror. The toilet paper ran out one evening, so we replaced it ourselves. There are not sufficient shelves or hooks to put your clothing / wash bags.
Noise from construction work next to the site woke me up at 8am on Saturday morning.
The site had allocated pitches close to each other in rows, so less privacy and space in nature than I had hoped for.

My wife and I have stayed in Woodlands for three nights. Mark - the host was very helpful. We had few chats and loads of laughs. He has kindly offered us a tickets for New Forest & Hampshire County Show that took place in New Forest while our stay. We have used that opportunity and spent fantastic day enjoying great weather, atmosphere, entertainment, shows and food on that enormous event. We will definitely come back to explore more of the Jurassic Coast attractions and places nearby.

Location is great - only 10 minutes from Lulworth Castle
Host was very friendly and helpful
We also liked the option for being able to hire a fire pit

One toilet didn’t have any loo roll; and had a bath in it full of what looked like junk items
Would be great if there were hooks or a stool in the bathroom to place clothes and towels

Mark literally saved our holiday! We'd brought a bell tent with us, but when we arrived we realised we'd left the poles and pegs at home. He very kindly let us stay in a pre erected lotus bell tent that wasn't in use that weekend and spent time getting it ready for us. We were so grateful for this, otherwise it would have meant driving straight back home! The campsite itself is in a beautiful location and is very well kept and very comfortable. It's only about 10 mins drive from Lulworth Cove.

Mark was very friendly and welcoming on arrival. The site is well managed and maintained. It is in a great location- close to Durdle door and Lulworth cove. We will be visiting again
