Site was easy to find, clean facilities.

We were refused entry to begin with because we were in a self converted van. This was not made clear when booking the pitch. We had booked for my sons birthday and obviously was very disappointed. After a long wait it was decided that we could stay as we had only booked for one night. Swimming also had to be booked in advanced and we were disappointed to find out that we could not book for the day we arrived (after all of the waiting around meant we wouldn’t have made it even if we could!) Site is near a main road and there is noise but it didn’t bother us too much due to only being there one night!

Really friendly, welcoming organised staff I particularly the lovely lady on reception. The pod was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy with a great view. Facilities really clean. The pool and park were great to keep the little ones occupied. The location is perfect for a little family of fossil hunters. We had some magical finds in Charmouth and were able to hide from the rain in the Museums and fossil shops in Charmouth.

Arrived on site, and was shown to our pitch for the 5 days.
Reception staff were friendly and woukd always call for any cancellations for the swimming pool if we were to slow to book.
Shower blocks were cleaned regularly and site was always tidy.
The 2 dog walking areas were excellent and again always tidy no dog mess left lying around.
We had a great level pitch (premium pitch) with good views.
Good location to small towns, recommend sea town and westbay as places to visit.
Park was nice and tidy, my 10 year old had no problems in going off to make friends and play.

Yes you can hear the road from the site, but personally this did not bother us, it is what it is.

The lifeguard we had was also amazing and the Pool was great.

The toilet block needs a little updating. Maybe soap dispenser at every sink and the hair dryer needs moving. The toilets where clean and plenty of them.

The pod was well heated and this made it comfortable to be in during the evenings. The USB charger sockets were useful, as were the plug sockets and a bin for rubbish. Sheets had been provided even though we had not paid the extra charge for this and brought our own. The pod was distanced well from other pods, although it is maybe luck if your pod is in a calm area as some pods had families playing football against the pods which could have disturbed other people perhaps. Luckily we were away from this and felt the atmosphere was calm. The dog field and poo bags were a great addition for walking the dog at the start and end of the day. Check in was easy and smooth. The facilities were near enough and the site was well lit to navigate at night. The view from our pod was fantastic to wake up to every day. They were very accommodating in allowing my parents to visit and park in the visitor area for the day whilst we all went out together. Great location! Wifi was great although you did need to pay for this service.

Although we never had to queue for the facilities I would still be concerned that there are not enough on site when full. The dog field is great but could do with a trim as the grass was very long and wet, making it difficult to navigate. The door to our pod was very temperamental - sometimes it closed and sometimes it didn't. We were fortunate enough to get our pod for half price and I would say this price was reasonable and value for money. To charge the original price I think the site needs to consider offering more in their pods such as a kettle, toaster and a mini fridge. I don't think enough is provided for £85 a night when you compare it with a hotel room or an air bnb, and this would be my advice for the park when it comes to competition.

We loved our little pod! It was comfy, warm and very sweet. Despite saying we’d need to bring our own bedding, bedding was actually provided! Staff were friendly and helpful and we loved going to the pool in the mornings!

It would have been good to have some clarity in the booking process about what was inside the hut and whether there were communal cooking facilities anywhere. It would have been even better if there was a communal kitchen with a hob or an oven to cook dinner! It would also have got an extra star had the Wi-Fi been free to use!

Great holiday park in a beautiful setting with fantastic amenities and really cosy camping pods!
