Just home from a fab stay at Old Brick kilns. Peaceful, lovely looking surroundings set out informally in groups, with lots of space between pitches, shower and toilet blocks spotless, bar, meals including Sunday roast. Every thing we could want as an older couple. Fishing if you're that way inclined and games room and play ground if you have kids. Staff very helpful and friendly. We liked it so much we're booked to go back in a few weeks

Friendly helpful staff. Clean modern toilets, showers. Good shop and bar. Decent evening meal. Flat level tent pitch. Pleasant countryside location.

The non-electric tent pitches are right by woodland so had a lot of insects at some times of day; other areas seemed much less affected.

Asked for the two pitches booked to be together as could see two hard standing pitches in the camping area. On arrival I was told they didn’t need my booking reference and when I mentioned the details, I got a laughing ’Well, you are not together, your caravan is over on the powered pitches, but it isn’t a very big site’ followed by ‘Oh you did it through Pitched Up did you?’
When our friends arrived they were told were to go on the powered tent site. Neither of us wanted power as was stated in our booking which wasn’t checked. She said we had a caravan and was surprised when I said it was a motor home!
The hard standing next to our friends tent remained empty as did many of the pitches that would have been a shorter walk.

Beautiful site, spotlessly clean and well kept. Fabulous facilities. Best shower I had on a campsite in a long while. Lovely bar on site which served delicious food and drinks. Would have like draft beers, as only bottles available, but that was literally the only (tiny) complaint!

Leaving for home

The park is beautiful and the pitches are well spaced. The toilet/showers are lovely and modern. We ate at Barneys bar. Good food friendly atmosphere. George one of the groundsmen is really friendly and helpful. All in all a lovely peaceful place to stay.

simply fabulous, beautiful site first rate facilities immaculately kept, easily one of the finest sites around, hope to stay there again and again

not really a dislike but be warned , the approach lane is long and narrow, only the site will know if this ever gives rise to problems, but absolutely no way two vehicles could pass
hardstanding pitch, but accused over grass, a situation I had not seen before, gave us no problem, but intriguing, still 5 star for all
