Lovely area with lots to do. Large fully serviced pitches. Excellent showers and toilets. Very helpful proactive staff - e.g we were asked how everything was, and mentioned that tv reception was poor and the site then lent us an arial cable

    Disliked:

Nothing really. It was a bit ironic though that we got in touch before arrival to advise that we have a large rig, and were told that’s fine but were then given one of the few pitches on a slope where it was necessary to manoeuvre round a tree! Tbf one of the staff then asked if it was ok and said we could move but we had got in by then

One of the best sites we have stayed on.The pitches are very generous and the grassed areas are kept short and cuttings free.
The facilities are good and always clean. The bar is dog friendly and there is a good dog walk on a wooded path around the perimeter of the site.Would definitely recommend this site.

    Disliked:

The only slight comment would be that the shower floor tiles can become slippery at least in the smaller block which we used.

Friendly, very clean, very tidy well kept site. Not too big, and a small bar open 4 nights a week, serving jugs of Pimms for £10. Sitting under the large parasol surrounded by lavender plants. Food is scrumptious, this can be either taken to your pitch or eat whilst having a drink or 3.
Small fishing lake with up to 5lb fish in. Fab for families.
Small path around the back of the site, just long enough for a doggie toilet break before bed with 3 bins to put doggie waste in.
Shower/toilet blocks very clean and very tidy. Lovely hot water at all times.
    Would highly recommend this site.
Loads of wildlife, and beautiful flowers and trees within the grounds.
Very dog friendly, also fab shop to purchase some necessary bits.

Well kept site, shower and toilet block kept clean and tidy. Stayed on adult only part which was lovely pitches good especially as we had fully serviced. Beautiful site.

    Disliked:

Just only couple of things pitch we had trees over hang bit too much as branches kept falling onto caravan and got very sticky. Showers on top half off field need a bit of updating although water lovely and hot sometimes pressure not good but that’s just minor things.

No wonder this site has won awards. It's well laid out, in great surroundings. Immaculately maintained with extremely friendly, helpful staff. Service points strategically placed. We were in the "Adults Only" area which was lovely & peaceful, with access to the dog walk. Wifi Hotspots around the site with access to free internet.

As the site is at the end of a very narrow, single track road they have a system by where anyone leaving the site (even for a day excursion) in a vehicle does so by 11 AM, that way, returning vehicles arrive among the newly arriving tourers. It works.

Outside the main gate, just along the road there is a public footpath which takes you through a wooded area with streams & an abundance of wildlife including deer. It leads to Swanton Novers & a nature reserve.
