Third time we’ve stayed here, it’s a beautiful friendly site, the owners put their heart and soul into the place and it shows.
Also has many rescue animals, including my favourite, a little highland cow.

Facilities are clean, there is an honesty shop where you can buy essentials you may have forgotten to bring, a small bar and a cafe if you fancy a coffee or breakfast. You can also buy food to feed the animals.
Very charming. I can’t fault the place.

Very poor signal for Mobile WiFi etc, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing if you want to escape reality, go for a short walk and you’ll get a signal again!

Animals were brilliant all well cared for a friendly.
Kids really enjoyed the play area especially the trampoline.
Great little shop with an honesty box so got to teach the children on how they work.
Dog area brilliant full gated with somewhere to sit.
Nice friendly bar with residents and staff on an evening.
Toilets and showers clean, elsan point well laid out.
Grey water and fresh water laid out well with good signs and lights
Outdoor pot wash with loads of hot water and lights when required
Dvd and book library was great
Freezer for cool packs if you needed it
Washing for only £1 great with small kids
Pond really nice to walk around and great for fishing the pegs are easily accessible and flat.
Proper 16a hookups without issue for 4 days not 1 trip and we had heating and hot water on

Potholes on drive & in site

Easy to find and friendly staff. Lots of animals that my 2 year old daughter loved seeing and stroking. Quite site in general. Little bar and shop on site. Serve hot breakfasts

The shop could do with a fresh meat section. More frequently cleaned toilets ( not necessarily there fault, just dirty people). Maybe better when warmer and dryer as the site was a bit muddy especially with the geese going everywhere.

This is the 2nd time in month I've stayed here, I love how relaxed and friendly the site and owners are. Its super dog friendly, with a secure dog run. You are surrounded by rescue animals, this definitely makes me smile to see their happy faces 😊, they're so well cared for. The 2nd time I brought my dad with me and we had the whole site to ourselves. Elisha (please forgive me if I've not spelt your name correctly) is a diamond, I think she loves dogs more than I do! Maggie says hi 🐾. There is also a forest walk close by but we haven't been able to go as of yet due to weather conditions. Looking forward to another few days hopefully by the end of the year.

This is not a dislike, just a notice for dogs with noise sensitivity. There was a little shooting on site and crow scarers throughout the day (the scarers was not on last time). My elderly dog found it very stressful unfortunately. So I'd double check for next time if the site has any shooting planned and if they know if the bangers will be on before we book. Again I stress this is not a dislike just a heads up 😊

This place is full of character, kids and grown ups enjoyed themselves. Sensible prices. Good facilities. Surrounded by forests and lots to see.

I like everything about sunflower park, location, great facilities that are spotless, Ian + Josie the owners two lovely people and very friendly, they even cooked me my breakfast every morning, where can you get that, the staff nice people as well, I have been camping and caravaning for 50 + years I have been all over England, Scotland and Wales, I wanted a few days away I could have gone anywhere but my first choice was Sunflower park, I have been there before, I am definitely going there again, I think that sums it up what I think about Sunflower park.

The site is very well located with lots to do for the kids. The honesty shop is a good facility and nice to see that in this day people can still be trusted to do the right thing. "I hope this continues". The electricity on the site is very good we never tripped the breaker once which makes a change for us. We had a later check out with no extra charge. Thanks Ian and Josie for a pleasant weekend. We will be back
