Plenty of space & pitches to choose from with lovely open views.
Excellent facilities & the site was quiet after 10pm til morning.
Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway & will be back soon.

The fields seemed to be well drained with a gravel road around site to find your spot.
The young lady on site was extremely helpful & welcoming, with a quick phone call on arrival to check in.

The showers were warm and spacious. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Loved our weekend here 3 young couples with 3 dogs.

Nothing I have recommended this place to all friends and hope to return.

It wasn't too busy. We met with the owner who was lovely as where her two beautiful dogs.

Toilets and showers were good. Washing up area was basic but practical.

Really enjoyed our stay beautiful views over the Valley :-)

Only gave it 4/5 as we did stay at fancier places, hover they were around £15 pound more a night

Beautiful campsite with gorgeous views over the valley. The converted animal transporters were great showers and washing up area. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived. Having a bbq and a campfire in the evening was a lovely end to our day. Shame we didn't book for longer but will definitely be returning.

No shelf in the showers

Location was beautiful, incredible views, perfect place to go walking/exploring, and personally nostalgic as I grew up in the area. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Facilities were great, clean and easy access, showers were hot which was brilliant, loved that there was a communal fridge freezer. The field itself was spacious enough with not too many tents so we felt we had some seclusion from the other guests which we loved. You can drive around the whole site to choose your preferred spot and can park next to your tent for the duration of your stay. It’s a stones throw from The Alma Inn and Emmott Arms pubs, we walked 10mins to The Alma Inn for lunch and would highly recommend! Overall a wonderful place to go camping and we will definitely be visiting again!

Not actually a dislike, just a personal preference, there are no electrical hookups next to any of the pitches which stopped us from being able to use certain items that we brought but it certainly didn’t dampen the experience! (Also no WiFi but we didn’t care for that at all)

Lots of space on the field(s). Nice views across the valley

Only two (small) showers and four toilets. These and the wash-up facilities, whilst functional were pretty basic. In our opinion, the showers need adding to - more of them, as a 5 minute rule is not going to work! Also, need better signage on the road - the entrance is very easy to miss.
