Paul was very friendly, made for a very relaxed atmosphere. The pod was massive, and had nice array of plates, cutlery and mugs, making camping much easier. The fridge also made life a lot easier!

Plenty of excellent places to visit within easy driving distance.
Close to M6.
Proper pub within easy walking distance.
First time in a pod after selling our touring caravan. Provides a good option to towing and the hassles that can go with a touring caravan.

No wifi facility and poor 4G.

The cabin was very well equipped and the manager friendly and helpful. The facilities were lovely, more like a hotel bathroom than basic shower block. The wigwams have electricity, which was great for charging ipads etc.

Could have done with a couple more signs on the road, we went past it! No WiFi but I'd not expected any.

The lodge was nice and tidy. The owner was very friendly and gave us some great travel advice.

Lovely and quiet, great location, nice owner

On arrival we were greeted by Paul, who is the owner. He gave us a quick tour inside the pod of how everything works etc. He also took the time to give us information and leaflets for ideas of things to do when in the area. We took his advice and visited Keswick whilst at the lodge. Paul booked us a table at the local pub, The Drovers Rest which was helpful whilst we got our stuff from the car.

Pod was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It had an ensuite shower and cooking facilities such as microwave, cooker, and fridge. It also had a TV and under floor heating. The cooking area was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, dining equipment, and cleaning products. The shower also had towel's available for use.

Outside the pod there is a firepit and picnic table where you can set up a bbq. Views of the sunset and night sky were amazing.

First glamping experience as we're used to city breaks using chain hotels. Hope to visit Roman Wall Lodges again in the future and I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Lodge is in a great location for driving and visiting the local areas.
