Liked: Everything, the site was as good as always, it was the first time I had taken my granddaughter, she loved it as well. The addition of the farm shop machines is great. Looking forward to my next visit.

Good location, pub nearby.Disliked: Pitch was mainly grassless due to previous tents killing grass
Unmade/ finished roads
One shower and toilet block in portacabin type buildings. Other shower block much better and more spacious in permanent building.

Liked: The main shower and toilet facilities were outstanding. Though there were some bigger families, we had a nice quiet spot (daytime). The pitches are flat and are quite sheltered from the wind. The campsite was very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
Wifi is available but I didn't use it so I can't comment on it's reliability. There's a pub very close by and some pubs in the neighbouring village, which is a nice short walk. There's also plenty of countryside to explore for short or longer walks/hikes.
Disliked: There were a couple of people who drove to the toilets during the night and a couple of people who turned up after 10pm which disturbed our sleep when they were driving past, starting up their car, leaving it running for 10 minutes or opening and closing the doors loudly. I don't blame the site itself for this, just inconsiderate people (not seasonal stays). We didn't let this affect our stay but we was quite tired after the second night.
The only thing I did dislike was the vending machines being contactless only. I don't agree with the contactless feature and so the machines were totally inaccessible for me and my daughter.

While reception is open (9am-8pm everyday) you can purchase the vending machine items from reception with cash if you do not have a contactless payment.
