Uninformed before arrival about electricity been limited, although we didn't use a great deal, it was the fact that we were not informed before arrival.

Liked: We were a mixed age group including a baby. The way the tents were placed together meant the baby could have the freedom to walk and ve safely with family members. Bbq facilities excellent plenty of space between tents on a lovely grassed area.

Liked: Fire pit/BBQ in cabin as well as removable trays to add space. Charcoal was reasonably priced - the kids loved toasting marshmallows!
Cabins were quirky - like a hobbit hole. Loved them!

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you did not like the pitch you were allocated. It is very difficult for us to be able to asses all our customers likes and dislikes. This pitch is usually very popular as the space around it make people feel as thosugh they are not hemed in. With regards to the electric being limited, you are allocated £5 per night which should be enough for most units unless it is extremely cold. Therefore there is no need for you as the customer to worry about your usage. We only explain this unpon arrival as we are on meters and have been for at least 8 year now, and as people have not alway come across a metered system we feel it is important to tell people on arrival. I will update our general notes on pirch up to state this. I am not sure that people always read the notes, therefore if you are informed on arrival it is fresh in your thoughts. Due to the massive increase in electrical prices for everyone it is importamt that people are aware of what they are using, hopfully this will prevent excesive usage and then maybe sites wont have to increase their prices as much to incur these extra costs.
