Liked: Right on the beach and lovely views across to Gigha and Islay. Also, Judith was really nice and very helpful. The facilities were well maintained
Disliked: Some slight, and fairly intermittent road noise from the road behind. Some smells on occasions from seaweed on the beach and the beach, although nice immediately next to the site, it is a bit more mud-flat to the north and south. Also, obviously I suppose, being right on the beach and looking west, if there is wind, there is no shelter from it at this site. The scenery and options for walking at Kintyre are not as fabulous as some other parts such as Oban area where we went to after this site

We hadn't planned to travel into the Mull of Kintyre but an impulse to travel down really paid off!
Such a simple site but beautifully kept with very good toilet, shower and laundry facilities. Pitches all beach side and with EHU are gravel and grass, not overly large but when you have the beach literally on your doorstep you have all the space you might need. The joy of this site is it is just 9 pitches so can't feel overcrowded
Local shop with everything you could need a 2 minute walk away. Bus stop just across the road.
All you need to do is take it all in, sit back and soak it up.
Disliked: A very very very minor negative is the main road behind

Liked: Great views and facilities, owner/manager was very nice on arrival. Sits on its own with a shop nearby, great for a trip over to Isle of Gigha! The views from all pitches are amazing!

Liked: Great location with only a few pitches all overlooking a beautiful beach.
Very clean & peaceful added bonus of a nice new toilet & shower block. Also had dish washing & laundry facilities.

Disliked: Shower good but drained slowly, squeegee mop would be better than normal mop to clean up slow draining water.
