The welcome from Steve the warden who came to greet us and helped us unhitch . The location was fabulous. The atmosphere was very friendly .

The poor workmanship in the toilet and shower block and in the wash up area. Poor finish and electrics badly fitted.

Urbanish site next to boating lake and a short walk to the coast. Great for sea wall walks, sunsets, ferry to Point Clear and Mersea. Co-op and several pubs near by. Clean facilities.

Relaxed management no pitch markers, pitches not reservable if leaving site. Public footpath through site. Fire hose missing.

Location fantastic

Pitches were very close together I could put my hand out of window and touch next door awning.
Site manager strange! Also talked to me whilst blowing his cigarette smoke all over me.
Toilet block although recently refurbished was absolutely filthy. I did actually force myself to use the shower but kept my sandals on and avoided touching the walls.
Lavatory filthy.
Was unable to find grey waste area and nobody on site to ask
Electricity hook-ups very overloaded.
Definitely over priced and would not return to this particular site.

Facilities, no grey water disposal told to empty on grass. Elsan difficult to reach as broken fence in way. Not a lot of space between vehicles.

Kayaking in front of my tent in the lake. seaside walks. playground nearby. clean toilets and bathroom
