This camping site is in very good location, close to Weymouth. Facilities: toilets, wash rooms and showers are exceptionally clean and with plenty of space. We had a very good welcome, camping site is very organized and secure. We could use freezer to change freezer blocks, telephone charging lockers and free Wifi. There are laundry and ironing facilities. I would really recommend this camping site.

Peaceful, quiet well kept site with very friendly, helpful staff. Free excellent and consistent wi-if (probably the best we have encountered). Toilets and showers were always very clean. Mostly flat grass camping areas plus flat scalping hard standings for caravans and motorhomes. Small well stocked shop at reception. There were also about 26 modern pods for hire situated around the edge of the campsite which looked like new in. (In case you don’t own a tent, caravan or motorhome, but like the idea of camping)

Although nothing to do with the site itself, but by way of alerting prospective visitors, there are some very tight, blind bends as you travel through Nottington village within a mile of the campsite, plus speed humps, some of which are deeper one side (front to back) than the other, so be careful as I scraped the chassis of my 2 berth caravan which was only lightly loaded!

The pitches are the worst we have encountered,yes they are
Level but are black coal like
gravel which when wet will leave
Dirty footprint stains on your
carpet in your Motorhome.

We loved the Gleness from the grounds to the toilet Block, the whole campsite was very quiet, shower blocks were clean and it was the most powerful shower I’ve ever used. Reception was so friendly, as was the person who showed us to our pitch. Would highly recommend.
