open and friendly campsite, plenty of space and a good variety of pitches. clean and very good shower block/toilet facilities. The staff member that signed us in was very friendly and full of lots of local knowledge and advice.

only 2 comments really, could do with a little more tree of hedge coverage to gove a little more shelter, but thats no real big issue. The other thing and its not really a campsite problem but the local village had absolutely nothing to offer in the way of shops or good food options, however Millom had it all but its a little further to walk.

Nice quiet site, great location. Very accommodating when I needed to change my booking from campervan to tent.

Found shower temperature a bit hot for me

Nice site, amenities good including the cafe for coffee and icecream. The marina cafe/restaurant was lovely- amazing food.

We were in the glamping pod- the seat pads are super thin so don’t use them as your mattress- you need to bring something more substantial.
Location- beach was not accessible- tide was either out (miles) with quick sand notices or right in. We picked this site for the beach too so that was frustrating. Also it really is remote so don’t pick it if you want to do lots.

Unfortunately tenters who thought it was a 24 hour rave

We left as the minute our tent was up there was 2 police cars and an ambulance arrived due to fighting on the site. It was late when we got there so we stopped the night then left, didn’t feel safe unfortunately
