Stunning place to stay! Wendy on reception couldn’t have been more helpful when we needed her to take an urgent parcel. A real great atmosphere around the camp, with the added bonus of homemade ice cream and the beach over a hill.

The showers were great but on the cooler side, and sadly the floors were a little gritty and muddy. The heated towel rail was a great touch though, and the showers were lovely and big

Great facilities, all within walking distance. The shower rooms were heated and cleaned regularly.

A lovely site, on the coastline and the pub is great for food & drinks. When we stopped the Land Rover pizza truck was there, extremely yummy pizza!
Toilets, showers and wash up rooms are prefect.

Everything especially the management and workers! Totally unprofessional.
Showers were filthy, tent pitches flooded.

The layout of the campsite was good, found the shower area really spacious. Plenty of room to wash dishes/cutlery etc.

Potholes 🙈 happy with everything else.

We liked the combined shower, toilet and sink rooms. Site was clean and tidy and next to the beach and local pubs and shops. Plenty of local walks as well. Will return.

Situated next to a large beach.
We parked our camper on a grass pitch and the view from the van was very picturesque.
The facilities are excellent and the toilet/shower/wet room were incredibly clean and seemed to have constant availability.
The one member of staff we encountered could not have been nicer.
A great spot for exploring the western Lake District.
There is a brilliant walk out and around the local RSPB reserve.

Recycling could be made easier as you had to walk into Haverigg to do this properly. Not a long walk but it clearly puts people off judging by the amount that was just thrown in the normal bins.

All the staff are fantastic and very friendly,the receptionist and the guy who dropped the fireplace off are who was dealing with us. Couldn't of asked for a nicer welcoming. Many thanks and hope to see yous again
