Lovely location next to the beach. Ski bar handy for a drink or bite to eat. Pub abou 10 minutes away and fish and chip shop same distance. Can get a coffee, cake or delicious icecream from the hut 🛖 n site. Friendly staff, fire pits allowed and not too many rules. Lovely walk around the lagoon. Plenty of toilets and showers although there needs to be somewhere to put toiletries near the shower itself.

Not much else nearby, but great for a few nights or family gathering. No wifi.

A big, well kept, friendly site. Welcomed by polite, friendly & knowledgeable staff who directed us to all of the camp facilities & local amenities & attractions.
The pitches were generous & the showers & toilets were new & spotlessly clean.

If you're into walking & have dogs, there's a nearby dog-friendly beach with dunes & creeks to explore plus the harbour wall which surrounds a lagoon with water sports & a nature reserve which is home to ground nesting sea birds & water fowl.

The nearby Ski Bar at the water sports complex is great for food & karaoke & is dog friendly.

You have to try the ice cream parlour. Extremely generous portions of some of the most delicious ice cream, hot & cold drinks. Very reasonable prices too.

Not a dislike, but beware of leaving bags of rubbish outside of your motorhome, tourer or tent, unless you want to wake up to a job, litter picking. Put them in the bins provided as we noticed that the gulls had opened a few overnight & had strewn rubbish everywhere.

No Wi-Fi on the site is the only dislike as the 4G signal seemed intermittent.

Good site, friendly and helpful staff. Good ice cream/coffee shop on site. Close to Town and other pub/cafe. Very good shower/wet room with hot showers and lots of space to change. Close to beach/seafront for walk and view

The amenities were excellent and clean, lovely people using the campsite, great friendly security to keep it safe. Would recommend it to friends and family. Great conservation area promoting the RSPB.

Just a bit far for fresh water if you are bad on your legs and to empty your toilet and gray water left awning down so I could drive down to fill up water and empty things but as I say I am a bit bad on my legs

We were on a camper van pitch, same spot as last time ! Fairly level and decent size grass for the awning. Only a 2 min walk to a tiny beach but carry on through the village to a lovely walk on beach. It's like a nature reserve. Over the road to walk along the lane for miles around the lake. The Ski bar is great to stop for a pint. Bit expensive if I'm honest but they can ?!Cute little cafe on site, barista made, not machine :-) Showers very nice. Very clean and warm. Friendly people.

Nothing really ! It's our 2nd visit and we will definately be back again at some point.

The campsite was very quiet. Facilities were of a very high standard cleanliness wise.
All staff were very helpful and friendly. Always felt welcomed.

Did have a unexpected camper pitch up at 2.30am. Banging car doors and putting up a tent. However this was dealt with promptly that same morning and the team apologised.
Didn't get welcome pack but we did arrive late as van broke down. Didn't know there was WiFi available

Excellent place, good pitches, excellent showers, etc.
