Got there at 5pm and the office was closed. We telephoned to ask where to park as we had a grass pitch and it was busy and dark. After several failed attempts to speak to someone, we rolled a few metres onto a flat piece of land and immediately sunk into the deep mud.
I let the BFG's down to mininum psi but we couldnt get out so a proper helpful camper named Luke, with a mint Landrover 90 kindly came out from his caravan and towed us backwards and back onto the gravel. Otherwise we would have had to stay stuck until the morning.
We had the straps and its not our first rodeo, so the whole event was sorted within 15 minutes. But its not the point.
There should be clear directions for late arrivals or a usuable contact number.
Regardless, we had a ball in the Ski Club and a quiet stay. The walks to the beach are awesome and the facilities are great. We'd stay again but on the gravel if all the other pitches are full again
