The site was lovely with lots of lakes. It was nice and quiet despite being busy. The toilets and showers were really clean and much nicer than most campsites. The electric hook up had a light and it’s own tap which was handy too. BBQs are allowed.

No shop on site and the bar/cafe didn’t seem to always be doing food - bit much info available when we asked

what a fantastic site very clean very very level pitches helpful staff the toilet and shower block were very clean and i think they were cleaned three times a day from what i saw maybe even more often the location was easy to get to and the fishing was absolutely fantastic i will be going back the tackle shop has evrything you could possibly need you could even go without any tackle and buy all you need

Not a dislike but needs more signage as to location. Sat nav took us to business park up the road

The super pitches are a good size, well located mains electric and water pole with grey waste drain to the left of the pitch at the rear.

Toilet block clean and well maintained.

Ongoing renovation works providing a further 20+ level grass electric pitches & play park.

The site itself is lovely and quiet on an evening with lots of wildlife around.

The site is also incredibly secure with an electric gate & anti vehicle ramp.

Ongoing renovation works meant that some of the road between reception & was dug up and full of pot holes, whilst I understand this is a necessary evil and is being relayed with a fresh surface within the next week…a heads up about this would have been appreciated.

Likewise the amount of large speed humps throughout site seemed a little unnecessary so just bare in mind if you have a low slung caravan or motorhome.

A printed site map would be beneficial which we spoke with the owners about & more visible marking of the Elsan point….but that’s us just being picky.
